why not? better believe it ... after years'n'years of inconclusive, agonizing research - anyone can get flashed with those ideas. that happens to me the continuously.^^

i don't think that these procedures are so complicated. it's only difficult for us to comprehend this.

Well okay I meant that they didn't wake up one day and say I think the universe exploded once, and then stop looking into it. It catapulted us into entirely new ideas..

The science is incredibly difficult to work with i meant.

where our matter comes from?

scientist have proved that matter and anti-matter can arise (together, of course) in any time and place.

and so our matter was able to come out of nothing...

but: from where comes space?

maybe a big bang makes a tiny thing become universe and then it will go back to a new tiny thing, next a new big bang makes the new tiny thing become new universe too, that is a cycle, also, maybe there are many this cycles in whole universe which impact each other.guesstimate

We were not there, therefore no matter how much evidence is claimed - the fact of the matter is, we do not know and anything and everything regarding creation or the beginning is speculative.

We were not there. We don't know. Ergo it's not worth arguing about.
Therefore let people believe alien space monkeys FROM SPACE [tvtropes.org] created all life on earth - ;let them, it doesn't matter anyway.
Christ, will people ever figure this out? We don't know. End of story.

Obviously we can't know 100%, but there is significant evidence to suggest that we are looking in the right direction. Are you suggesting we should just stop trying? We might eventually solve the mystery that has plaugued mankind since the dawn of civilisation.

Actually that's an idea that's been gaining credence lately. The cycle theory, I.E the big crunch precedes the big bang. As in the universe expands to a certain point, then begins contracting until it shrinks to a singularity again, then it explodes, etc etc etc.

Fascinating, to they have any idea as to what makes in contract? I'd look into it, but I'm a complete layman.

Well, it's something like: The universe is expanding due to the force of the big bang. Sort of like momentum, but propelled by a lot of other stuff. At some point, supposedly the gravitational pull of the universe might overcome it's inertia and pull it back into a singularity.

That's how I understand it anyway.

there are a lot of things that might stop it thought. One being the unknown affects of dark matter and anti-matter. Also, that the gravitational pull might never become strong enough to over come inertia.

Here's another mind-blowing thing. Okay so there are these things called quasars. Which are essentially....gigantically powerful galaxies. Well "what" are is impossible for me to explain. My point is the DISTANCE of these things.

Okay, Light is the fastest thing in the galaxy (as proven by einstein). Now To reach the nearest quasar it takes light 2.5 BILLION YEARS. To get there. Stop. Think about that for a second. 2.5 B-i-l-l-i-o-n y-e-a-r-s. That means, for just a moment in time to reach the earth, that point in time is nearly as old as this planet. (Creationists pleas shut up, I'm not arguing with you about god).

Scientists can look at these quasars and see nearly the beginning of the universe.

Incredible.

....
Yes, that's exactly what I am saying. It doesn't matter one way or the other.
One side is right, it doesn't matter which, the rest of us are going to get fucked up the ass either way so it's totally illogical to keep trying when money can be better funded for things that are actually, you know, relevant.

No, we won't, and you know why? We were not there, it doesn't matter how much evidence you think you have - that fact of the matter is, we were not there, therefore we will never really know. It may be 99.9% accurate - but that 0.1% could still be right, therefore it's still speculative.

I believe in God, it's my choice and that's all there is to it, I'm sorry if i defy what you call logic and science. Besides, it doesn't matter for me anyway - it matters for non-believers, but not for me. If there is nothing after this, I won't know it.
But if there is, then I'll see you all when I'm getting dragged into hell (as that is where I'm going) or rather, if you choose to believe - then Limbo (which is where good non-believers and unbaptized babies go - supposedly), of course I'll be going much deeper than level one.

Or whatever it is - it doesn't matter how things got started. It really doesn't.

Why worry about this your whole damn life when you can be out having fun and worry about the afterlife (or lack thereof) when you fucking keel over and die?
See, that's real logic and if scientists had any then they wouldn't be doing this for a living.
An, but I used to care as well, however I gave up after I learned that the vast majority of us are going to get fucked one way or the other - unless there is nothing, in which case all of us will be fucked over.

Therefore, it's stupid. Real logic says this. I'm not saying you can't have an opinion or believe something, I'm not saying that. I'm just saying, it doesn't matter in the end, we're all going to die - some of us sooner than others - so why bother caring? Life is short, so it should be lived.
We'll all confirm it after death anyway~

[Sidenote: I found out half-way though writing this that I totally have a fever. So that's totally why I seem a little more nutty than usual. Not a headache... a fever. So, um, yeah. However, I still stand by what I said - just sorry if it seemed a little, uh, weird.]
