I would say yes to a little slap on the wrist but thats it.

Parents should not to be allowed to smack their childs.

i think in extreme situations they should be allowed.
but then theres a problem:
what is an extreme situation (some parents might difine it to every situation where their child does not have the same opinion as the parents).
and: when the parents hold together, noone can say whether they hit her child to discipline him/her, or they hit him/her because of another reason, or something where it was totally unnecassery...

and so you cannot allow this, unless can solve this problems.


but also, parents have a large space of discipline their children without hitting them.
