But yeh, dinosaurs.
Did you ever see Jurassic Park? Raptors are smart.
Also, the bigger dinosaurs could easily get to the third floor.

I had a dream like this once. The answer is simple... Grenades and lots of them.
Also, Guns. Lots and lots of really big guns.

If the sun is what does us in then that would be awful boring.
If we're all gonna die, then we should at least die in the most fucked up way possible!
That's right... mutant wiener dogs!

The sun turning into a red giant is nothing short of spectacular. Granted this is in approx. 4.5 BILLION years. So we have some time. That being said, I'm sure some statistics expert could give me the actual numbers. But an asteroid is FAR more likely than anything else, due to the sheer size and number.

However here is an interesting one.

Mini-black holes. Objects tiny in size, no larger than your daddy's F150. Roving through space like fucking homing missiles. If one of those hits us, it's all over baby. If they exist anyway.

Gamma-rays. Oh boy, Gamma rays; okay to do these bad boys justice:

All ionizing radiation [en.wikipedia.org] causes similar damage at a cellular level, but because alpha and beta rays are relatively non-penetrating, external exposure to them causes only localized damage, e.g. radiation burns to the skin. Gamma rays and neutrons are more penetrating, causing diffuse damage throughout the body (e.g. radiation sickness [en.wikipedia.org], increased incidence of cancer) rather than burns. External radiation exposure should also be distinguished from internal exposure, due to ingested or inhaled radioactive substances, which, depending on the substance's chemical nature, can produce both diffuse and localized internal damage. The most biological damaging forms of gamma radiation occur in the gamma ray window [en.wikipedia.org], between 3 and 10 MeV, with higher energy gamma rays being less harmful because the body is relatively transparent to them

That is taken directly from wikipedia.

Oh and by the way, when they say increased instance of cancer. They mean something in the area of 98% grow tumors and die.

Oh and one MORE thing, the radiation sickness, and internal damage? That's another way of saying, if you get hit by a beam no larger than the size of an atom, your internal organs will be soup. Radioactive soup. There are billions of these beams firing off in space as we speak.

Have fun sleeping tonight.

That being said, I'm totally game for some zombie killing. Although how I approach the coming invasion is dependent on what kind of zombie we are talking about here.

Resident evil-- We have plenty of time to take care of these slow moving crazies. Don't get caught in confined spaces, keep on the move, preferably in a car or truck. I would suggest a 2010 Dodge Ram HD, for maximum people capacity and zombie smushing power.

Dawn of the dead--- Get your asses to a mall, grab all of the food that you can. Make sure your in spitting distance of some sort of large food supply....grocery store.. whatever. Hole up in there for as long as you can, and then die.

Grind house Planet terror --- Get your ass to florida. No joke, You have water on three sides of you, plenty of boats to make a quick escape. Get as many people as you can to guard the radius of the state. Like from coast to coast, of the smallest area you can find. The food should still grow, so you will have plenty of fruit to eat. Keep out anyone who tries to get in, infected or not. You are at risk of over crowding. And potentially allowing a zombie to sneak in.

Needless to say in all scenarios get lots of guns.

velociraptors have been the smartest dinosaurs.
but compared to today, they ware not smarter than chickens.

but i think they will find out that doors can be opened, and so they would get into houses, and so they would come to all floors.

but i dont think that we will have troubles with escaped dinosaurs.
surely they would kill some people. but against a tank or some bombers or granates for the smaller ones...

Have you ever heard of a joke?
I mean really, back when that movie came out did you know that the largest raptor found was no bigger than a pitbull? Really they exaggerated the size for the movie up until one month or so before the movie came out did they find a larger one.
Seriously, learn to notice a joke.

Also chickens are smarter than you think. I once knew a chicken - yes knew, I had a fried who lived on a farm - that could do math. And well too.

And again I say "grenades".
Even in the case of zombies, those could kill (ah-har) a bunch of the undead easy. Also providing a wonderful distraction because of the noise the produce.

The end of the world
it's really important thing because
no one knows how it'll end
is it gonna end by human wrong things
or just we'll be extincted like the dinosaurs
i don't know
actually no one knows
may be it'll be tomorrow or tonight
or after 50 years from now
this is a truly fact we shouldn't
put our minds on it
just enjoy the life & forgot this thing like it'll never
happen because if you started to think about it
you'll never live in happiness

Several nations begin warring with one another for the last stores of fossil fuels, namely oil and uranium. Known as the Resource Wars, fighting begins in April of 2052 and continues until October 23, 2077. China invades Alaska in the winter of 2066, causing the United States to go to war with China and using Canadian resources to supply their war efforts, despite Canadian complaints. Eventually the US annexes Canada in February of 2076 and reclaims Alaska eleven months later. After years of conflict, on October 23, 2077, a global nuclear attack occurs. Nobody knows who strikes first, but in less than two hours most major cities are destroyed. The effects of the attack will not fade for the next 100 years. As a consequence, humanity lives in underground Vaults though some people affected by the radiation live topside.

Fallout

Seems plausible

Michael by the time a asteroid large to wipe out earth hits us we'll already be deflecting them to Mars to make a habitable planet.
