Here are some facts that our President Obama doesn't want you to know:
Pg 30 Sec 123 of HC bill – a Government committee will decide what treatments/benefits a person may receive. (In other words, if you think you may have a spot on you that is cancerous and want a biopsy to find out if it is or not, a committee will decide if you need this. Most likely, they will decide you can wait, giving this potentially cancerous spot more time to take over your body, enjoying the great works of Obama?)
Pg 42 of HC Bill The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your HC Benefits for you. You will have no choice! (It's that great American freedon we worked so hard for, right?)
PG 50 Section 152 in HC bill – HC will be provided to ALL non US citizens, illegal or otherwise. (Your hard earned tax dollars you pay will go toward paying for illegal alien's healthcare! Woo Hoo!)
Pg 170 Lines 1-3 HC Bill- Any NONRESIDENT Alien is exempt from individual taxes. (Americans will pay.) (Need I say more??)
Pg 239 Line 14-24 HC Bill Government will reduce physician services for Medicaid. Seniors, low income, poor affected. (Think of your grandparents, people
Pg 354 Sec 1177 – Government will RESTRICT enrollment of Special needs people! ( Aren't you proud of your President? )
These are just a few examples of the terrible thing that may be coming our way, and will no doubt ruin this country.
The people who would actually vote for this, must be out of their minds insane.
Well we have free healthcare in the UK and it hasn't ruined the country at all, assuming we're looking at the same sort of thing. Finland have one on the best free healthcare systems in the world, and from what I can tell they're doing bloody great. And it's not like you have to do everything with the NHS over here, there are plenty or private organisations you can pay for if you so desire, so if they decide not to give you a biopsy (although if it is potentially cancerous, they probably will) then you're free to find a private hospital. At least that's the way it is over here, anyway.

No, that is not the reason I joined this site. Our potential new healthcare plan is not the same as yours. I was trying to inform all the teens about some of the terms they may not have been aware of in this new Bill. By the way, your smart ass sarcasim is not needed or appreciated.
Well, we don't have to use the govt. health care either. Private organizations will still exist, and will be unaffected. In fact if you look at it like that, this enforces capitalism. Giving the big insurance companies competition, makes them offer better rates, and services. And for those who still can't afford it, they get the basic health care package. Seems like a good idea to me.

That wasn't sarcasm, what was a question. And if they make private organisations completely illlegal then I completely disagree with it, but if they still exist like Paragonal says, I don't see the problem.

Another reason why most people probably think it "seems" like a good idea, is because they aren't watching a balanced news show. Try watching Fox News, it's a news program that interviews many senators on this issue, and gives you the facts straight about what this healthcare bill truly means and how it will effect American citizens.
I'm not trying to be rude by posting this by any means, sorry if i comes off that way. I just want to clear that up because the only purpose I have for posting this is to better inform teens out there who don't know much about this.
I don't want everyone to be dumbfounded when our taxes are raised (which is a known fact if the bill is passed, go look it up) when/if this bill is passed. And that is not the only thing that will go wrong...just wait.
Yep. A website with the name "republican" in it is definitely fair and balanced.
However, I bit and read the article, or FAQ, or whatever you want to call it. And it does bring up some valid questions. Yes. Questions. It does not say anywhere, that taxes will double, or triple, or anything else. It says they will go up. Okay, that's not really the ideal situation; but you don't get something for nothing. You just don't.
It questions the democrat's plan for the new taxes, and the quality and things of that nature. That's all fine and dandy. Show me definitive information that shows me this health care reform is bad. Not questions and what if's. That's fear-mongering.
By the way, aren't you missing the point? How old are you? Do your parents have health care? I don't. I can't afford it. So if I get sick tomorrow, I get to pay all of the bills in full. Or I can pay an extra couple hundred bucks a year in taxes, and not be in debt for the rest of my life.
Yeah, health care is terrible.
