Question Hey Girls Lets Talk About Sisterhood!!!

Hello im looking for some people to talk to about sisterhood for research i am doing for a article.

the things i want to know are do you feel a sense of sisterhood with other girls/women or do you think modern society has made us competitive, bitchy ect...?

in the early 1900's the sufferagettes literally died for each other and thier rights, in the 1970s feminists started the womens liberation movment, do you think women would do that today? has the fight for womens equality with men turned women against each other?

any stories about you experiences or just your general opinions would be great

thanks

love researchgirl

First off, women have always been competitive. Always. It's in our nature to be.

I don't believe in Feminism - I believe in equality.
Feminism is female empowerment, which makes men lesser than women. I don't agree with that.
Today? That depends. If Feminism didn't take place, then maybe. If it did then no as I believe more women are realizing just how good they had it.

Equality? You mean dominance.

Women have proved to be capable workers when the situation calls for it - like during WWII, who do you think worked while all the men were out fighting?

What I honestly think is that with feminism it made women think less of modesty and then they started acting more slutty sleeping with every guy with a pulse. I'm not saying it didn't happen before then, but at least they knew to keep their traps shut about it.
So in that sense "female empowerment" gave us more teen pregnancy, more STDs, more sluts and whores, more pressure to be sluts and whore, lack of regard for modesty and manners, things like that.
Ironically feminism was also the biggest gift and curse to men, as a whole.
You see now they can get laid without actually putting forth and effort but at the same time they get a bitch controlling them every second of their life.

Now that makes girls lower they standards in order to get a guy because they believe that guys what girls who put out. But really this only happened because girls made it easier for the guys to get sex.

Now our society is fucked (no pun intended) and it's all thanks to feminism.

I don't believe in "sisterhood" - I believe in a right and a wrong, be you bitch or bastard if you did something wrong then you did something wrong.

Now, I think women preach about sisterhood, but really... we're all a bunch of two-faced back-stabbing bitches when you get right down to the core of it. Which is why there is no such thing as a sisterhood, we're too naturally back stabbing.
I believe women are horrible creatures right down to the core, the way society is now I believe our natural horror is shown more often because we are basically taught that "while we are equal - women are better". Just like how the demon Lilith acted.

Now that isn't to say some women are above that, plenty are above acting like how they naturally are - because they were raised not to be like that.
They have higher standards, usually end up finding a good guy, maybe having a job, but generally tend to focus on family more, dress more modestly, act nicer, speaks better, and doesn't go out seeking attention. They also tend to have higher intelligence, though common sense actually varies - few and far in-between do women have that gift.

So back in the day girls were taught to act like ladies, now they are not and look at what happened, which I said earlier.

This is why I hate feminism, feminism isn't about equality - I don't care what they say, i care how they act and the say we are equal but they act like they are better.
It's like saying that you have a happier marriage if the woman is smarter - well that's bullshit. The woman isn't very smart if she marries someone less intelligent than her - she just wants someone she can control.

And in all honesty, women having too much power is a very bad thing as we are much more emotional than men are. Emotions are good sometimes, but is a position of power logic has to dictate - and men tend to be way more logical than women.

Anyway, that's what I think. As a woman I can say that I hate women, at least the vast majority of them. I hate them to the same degree that I hate guys who dress (if you can call it that) like they just rolled out of bed, put grease in their hair, put a baggy shirt and cap on and expect us to swoon over them (ah, another example of women lowering standards - which all started because women made it easier for the guys to get laid without having to work for it).
So I suppose you can say I make no real distinction between the idiots of modern society.

In short, I was born in the wrong generation, I should have been a housewife in the 50s, seriously.

just so you know.... don't feel the same as them. however i have no idea how to answer this.

I think if i had been stuck in a different era i probably would have joined up with the suffragettes right away though. it's not in my nature to watch things happen, i have to be one of the ones making it happen.
