Insurance companies will not charge higher insurance rates for a ship or plane crossing the so-called Bermuda Triangle. That's because they rely on statistics, and not on rumors. Despite all the mystery, traveling through the Triangle is not more dangerous than any other route.

Sometimes ships get lost, and sometimes airplanes suffer technical problems. If that happens anywhere in the world, that's a short item in the news. But if, once in a few years, that happens within the Triangle, nobody will miss the opportunity to speculate.

That's how empty legends are born and maintained. Sorry to spoil the fun.

Actually they did a thing about the bermuda triangle on the discovery channel.. They actually showed satellite images, and boats crossing the thing, they say, that three wind currents meet at once, cause much rapid storms, which sink ships, and cause turbulence for air crafts.. its a completely natural phenomenon..
No governmental BS.. hope this helps,
