According to police and state authorities, Laura was last seen leaving New York's Marquee Nightclub with Mele, who lived just an hour away from the PA field her body would later be discovered in.

Officials confirmed Monday that the remains found last week in the field near Olyphant, PA, are those of missing 25-year-old Laura Garza.
Police are still investigating. Mele is currently in prison on unrelated charges.

That poor girl. She was so young and beautiful. I hate hearing stories about these young people, who have their full lives ahead of them, who have their life just ripped away by someone. It's so cruel and unfair but unfortunately it happens.

Not to sound cruel but when you leave with strange people, shit like this happens.

What I wanna know is... what exactly was her body like, if it was fresh then I wanna know just exactly what she had to go through.
And then I wanna see the bastard pay for it.

It's sad to hear that she died so young, but she merely deserved it. I'm sorry, I won't find myself going to anyone's house on the first day, none the less clubbing without my friends. Plenty of things are going on out in the world these days and you never know what's vulnerable to happen. With or without a friend.

@Nerd: I'm guessing this is here because she's a "dancer" or some sort in New York and the topic was interesting to him, although I must say I don't know this lady or heard of her before.

I understand why it's here, but not why it's in the news. She's not even all that famous.
