Oh, yes, because that's really taking responsibility for your actions there.
Honestly, he should have cleaned up any mess he made himself.
But that's the way things usually work, people make messes then when the people boot them they are like "Ha ha, fuck you bitches!" like a spoiled rotten child letting some other kid clean up his mess.
All I can say is from what I heard, confusion or not this is good news.
But on the other hand, he was elected in there... you all pretty much got what you were asking for.
This can be said for anyone elected into a position though.
