Except the reason guys even donate their sperm in the first place it to make money, not to churn it out.
This is for women who are willing to pay to get pregnant. If they wanted money from a guy then they'd go get pregnant the old fashioned way.
If the guys had to pay child support, then sperm banks would go out of business.
Which is what's going on now, the guys want nothing to do with their biological kid(s) in this sort of situation.

There's a question of the people who don't want a child and are donating to sperm banks as a source of cash or free "stimulus" (e.g., the "aid" that they provide in their private rooms) being harassed, solicited for cash, or likewise-- an invalidation of an agreement to privacy and anonymity. It's understandable that donations have stopped.
