Default Oil Leak in the Gulf

Has anyone been been keeping up with the Oil leak in the Gulf?

The damage this is doing to the environment is horrid... :(

It happened the day before Earth Day to BP.
Something about it is fishy.

That is all.

yeah, me and mariette already fight about it =)

As I already said, I don't care if it is an accident or not. What make me mad,, is that they didn't build the second oil well, saying it was too expencive and too long,, so they would make more money. And now that it exploded, it's a disaster. If they would have done it in the first place, like they were suposed to, it wouldn't be the worst ecological disasters in years. BUT these people that are working for the oil, as I said, are living only for money, and ti's kindda sad, since they are already millionaire.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "second well"..... They're currently drilling a 'relief well' which will take months...

each time they are building an oil well, they are suposed to build an other one '' in case'' it happens an accident with the first one. Well, they didn't do it, saying it was too expensive and too long to build and that accident never happens.
See where we are now.
Sorry, I know my english is killing me.

That's a failure on the regulator's part. (a.ka. the government.)

And yet Obama is President. And it's been over a year since Bush was out of office. Hmm... which means that everything that happens after the first year is the Obama Admin. fault.

Can be said for any Administration.

Way to attempt to start a political fight, boy. As hard as it'll be for you, please at least try not to get off topic, it's so annoying when everyone in each fathomable political direction is going for the throat.

Nuke the bitch, that is all.
