Question What is in store for us humans?

What do you think is in store for us humans as we evolve and as technology changes?

Personally I like to think that some day we will end up being able to live forever providing someone doesnt kill us, I like to think we will be able to create artificial body parts that function as good as the real things and that we will live quite peacefully. I also like to think that we may be able to escape the solar system before the sun dies and perhaps move elsewhere. I dont think we will end up killing each other with weapons etc but it is a possibility.

What do you think we will be like and live like and do you think we will survive such enormous problems? Share your thoughts

Humans are much more likely to destroy than anything so i think we'll end up destroying each other in another Great War.

But I really don't care either way, I'll be dead and gone by the time technology reaches that point.

Although so long as countries threaten MAD then, unless someone batshit insane comes along, I doubt what I say will ever happen.

I think that advancements in security and technology could provide an easier and safer way of life. Then again, I am basing this theory on what modern society has created as the future. Food that comes in little pellets, sidewalks that move, hover-cars.

I've also noticed something else, in these futuristic diagrams, all the people are wearing matching jumpsuits and are skinny. I don't know. Who knows what the future has in store for us humans.

I agree, with the direction humanity seems to be going I wouldn't be surprised if WW3 broke out within the next decade or two.

Yeah... but like I said, so long as MAD exists, it would take someone insane to attack someone who could easily destroy them as well.
After all, people only attack in order to conquer - no point in doing it if you're gonna get blown off the map.

THe most a human could probably live is 500 yrs 1000 tops. before the slightest jiggle from a key kills you.

Plus don't forget humans wrinkle and the skin would pretty much wrinkle till the skin dissolved becauses atoms themselves eventually break.

Technology will develop, however I believe that the World will end after a Nuclear war, humans will bascially destroy eachother, remember it only takes one person who is in possesion of nuclear weapons and we could all be blown off the face of the earth. Some countries have enough of these weapons to destroy the world many times over. Arms may be being lowered but other countries are building instead of getting rid, destroying all nuclear weapons would be a good option.

If this doesn't happen then the sun will destroy us, the strange thing is as the earth is heating up the only place getting colder is England, typical, I complain about the weather on a regular basis, Idread to think how cold it'll get, it's believed that Norwich will end up under water.

Unless you go by the assumption that we'll develop technology to keep atoms from breaking.

I have no idea. On the one hand I expect technology will advance so much we'll be able to travel in space, colonize new worlds, prevent death etc...

However I also expect us to destroy ourselves, probably through a nuclear war.

Having said that, I'll (hopefully) be dead before things like this happen. That doesn't mean I don't care about the future, but there's nothing I can do about it anyway so...
