What does everyone think on Tv making people dumb? You hear it from some people tv is amazing and does wonders on society and others disagree. What do you think? My personal opinion it's certain shows like the twilight saga that are ruining society.

it's not twilight saga or harry potter. it's be obsession itself. i am a huge fan of harry potter and a fan of twilight and i'd never scream like hell or do something stupid just because the characters do them too. people can't decide what's real and what's not and they can't separate them. that's what causes the dumbness

it's not even that people girls cry of edward and their is no edward. plus i like tv but shows like that just waste useful time

like i said, fanatism or obsession... edward did a small paper as Cedric Diggory in harry potter and no one noticed him. it's just now. plus they are teens... give them a break

I don't think that actually watching TV makes people dumb. The dumbness comes from spending time watching TV and NOT improving yourself. I, for one, enojy a good movie every once in a while, but I don't obsess over the Television. In fact, I am really anticipating Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in November. Just keep the craving in check.

yeah.. i don't watch tv because i think it's a waste of time. i download everything.. but still... tv helps distract people from work and life problems but when they spend too much time watching it, it becomes an obsession

still think of it how many kids would have good grades if they didn't just watch stupid shows all the time. Plus half of amercia is obese due to it as well. Honestly i agree tv is okay but some shows are pointless and runing lives and should't even be on tv

50% of Obesity isn't just caused by sitting by the TV itself, it's a variety of factors.
I could go into a massive rant about this but I'm refraining. ._. *Narky*

But yeah, It depends on the person and how far their obsession goes. I don't really see a problem because it's a persons own choice.
