Yes, but that means it is there own fault. Not the caffines fault. Hence I said, it's the drinker who is responsible for his/her consumption. Just like alcohol, yes, I drink alcohol on a regular basis. But does that make me an alcoholic? No, because I can drink alcohol responsibly and know when to stop and I know my limitation.
The best way to put this straight is by using my dad as the best possible example.
My father has high blood pressure. No one can blame coffee the reason for this, he only has himself to blame. Although it is mostly to do with stress, his GP told him to cut down on his caffeine intake.
So like I said before, coffee/tea/caffeine is perfectly fine for you, it's only when you become addicted that things may go wrong.
