If someone starts a fight at school do you think its right to phone the police on them? i know at my school if someone had a fight the teachers would come and break it up, both would get detention and that would be the end of it. would you ring the police if you got into a scrap with someone?

Been a few fights at school, police have never been called though.



There was a fight today, the guy who started it got a 5 day suspension

I think thats its right to phone the police, if your Dad was to hit another man that would be fine to him ring the police and I think it should be the same at school, it is an assault.

Depends I think, how bad it gets.



Every time I got into a fight I usually didn't have time to even pick up a phone.

Every time others got into a fight the teachers, the police officers there, and some other students would all pry them off each other.



Yeah the fights at my school got violent. Lots of object involved. Esp. with the girls.



But we have police at the school I went to.

I am with Wolfy on this one, I think that if its just a small fight where no one has really got hurt then the police arent really needed. If someone has come out of it covered in blood, broken noses etc then yeah I think its a good thing to phone them. I have never heard of police being in schools before myself but I wouldnt be surprised with how dangerous some schools can be.
