Question Ouija Boards

What do you make of Ouija boards and what are your thoughts about them? Are they capable of messing up peoples lives who use them wrongly in your opinion? Would you ever use one, if so why would you like to use one? Do they really communicate with spirits and such?

Personally I dont know what to make of them, I know that a lot of people who have used them wrongly have claimed all sorts of strange things happening after using one. If anything I am little scared of things like these, I know I certainly would never use one based off what I have heard about them, I am quite a chicken when it comes to anything paranormal.

that's some serious stuff right there, I've heard some stories about bad experiences with the ouija. It's something I'll never mess around.

I've heard of them letting demons in. Call me superstitious all you want, I'm not ever taking the risk.

My Nanny used one when she was younger and lots of bad things started to happen after that and I know of others who strange things have happened to as well.
I don't know what they communicate with or if it's all a trick but to my knowledge spirits don't bring about strange things, but demons do.

I don't really believe in demons or anything. I've only used a ouija board once and I'm sure we were doing it incorrectly, but nothing strange ever happened to me. What can go wrong from using them incorrectly?

I'm not sure what to think about them. Even though the paranormal interests me greatly despite not believing in demons specifically, I wouldn't exactly run the risk of communicating with a one. These kind of things are better left alone in my opinion, it's basically asking for trouble

No I would never take the risk.
Like Marietta said, I've heard storys of it letting In demons.
My sister used one when she was 16, the glass she was drinking out of flew up and smashed against the wall all by its self. When she woke up in the morning, she had scratches on her neck.

They don't work at all, fake scam to get people's cash. Watch Penn & Teller, shows a group of people in a supposedly hunted hotel, first try their unblinded folded and they move the piece themselves not even knowing it. Next round they blind fold them, while they were blind folded one of the producers turned the board upside down and they moved the piece to the same spots while spelling out the words (as if the board was right side up).

Yes that may only be one recorded trail but it was controlled and proven logically that most people move the piece by them selves with out even knowing it.

no, such esoteric games don't let anything in from the outside but arouse the things, that already exists in you. particularly if you've a labile personality, you shouldn't play with such things. but as a meditation aid Ouija boards aren't the worst.

I said heard, I never said it was stone-cold fact.
Can you prove they don't let anything in or can you prove it just arouses what's in you?
