Many different people have their own definitions of what love is, and at times there are people who cannot agree on what love actually is.

So what do you think it is? because personally I don't know and I am interested in what you have to say

A magical feeling for another person that never leaves until you die. It was invented by society, because we all know it does not exist.

Mistakes are made, and regrets are our luggage; we will drag them with us to slow us down.
The victories are flashes of light, sudden and unlasting, which allow us to glimpse the road ahead before darkness descends.

Love is bitter, yet it is the bread that keeps us. Over and over it fills us up, only to starve us.

It has a definition?

It exists, I know that for sure. What it is is different for each person.
For me, it's pure devotion and loyalty. Love me back or not, if I love someone then I'll always be loyal to them.
But I won't deny it also has to do with chemistry and whatnot. I'm very picky, though. I can't love, well so I thought, anyone who mentally can't keep up with me on the same terms as me.
I did once though, back when I had my love goggles on and then I realized his intelligence had dropped dramatically since the last time I saw him.

Before anyone asks, no I didn't lust after him - not in the slightest. My only goal was to be devoted to him and to make him as happy as I could and I failed at that.
Oh well, but that's how I know it exists. I felt it.

A release of chemicals that combine and react to mimic the effects of OCD.
That is is, really, on a science basic.

It's different to everyone.
For me, it's both merely chemical but also mental. It's the feeling of devotion to another person. When it feels like they mean the world to you, when they're always on your mind and also when they're someone you can see yourself spending your life with.

People need to learn their science. The mind works through the release of electric 'shocks' in different parts of the brain depending on what you're doing. Chemical reactions are just the parts that catalyze those shocks.

If love was determined by solely chemical reactions, everyone would react in similar ways. Complex emotions are handled through your capacity of abstract thought, which we don't have a grasp on just yet.

I've always defined love as being able to be content with someone's company, even without a romantic context. The best lovers are your best friends.

Love is when someone else is actually more important than yourself.
