This thread is about teenagers, not motherhood.
That had nothing to do with what we're talking about.

Stay on topic.

I think it's half and half. I think some people have high hopes for our generation, like we'll do something big and help the world. Or something like that. Then there's the other half. The ones who believe we're just trouble makers and won't do anything worthwhile.

With what I've seen and experienced, I don't have especially high hopes for our generation.

I agree with what all said above.

Although life was harder in the time of our parents because when they worked , they worked for maybe 10 cents an hour, I don't know...! Now it went up and life is not as hard then before although life is hard today if you didn't graduate and studied for some course.

Need any advice, I am here for you

^ I love that... "back in my day I worked for a buck something an hour..." Back in their "day" inflation hadn't occurred to the extent it has now - which has driven up the cost of living, food prices, etc and the need to make a higher wage.

Although, we do very much live in a society that is beginning to requires higher education - so yeah, without that you will tend to take the "long and hard road" throughout life in terms of career.

I really think the expectations have gone lower with our generation considering how harder life was back then.

Nope.

Thinking back to the days of our parent's or even grandparent's youth, by the time they were 15 most of them were married, had jobs or worked on the farm, and were popping out babies.

I think today, though, there is more pressure to be a certain kind of teenager, if that makes sense.
