Default Jon Stewart vs. Bill O'Reilly

I loved watching Jon Stewart hand it to O'Reilly. I used to like O'Reilly, I really did, but it got to the point where it seems he only cares about his opinion. He only wants to hear that what he has to say is right, and, unless you agree with him, you're wrong. I love Jon Stewart even more for this.

I don't enjoy watching him now, or any of Fox News. I prefer CNN, that's just what I like to watch now. I had the lovely opportunity to have a substitute teacher butt into a conversation I was having with a friend about the news stations, and basically tell me that my views are wrong, and I shouldn't watch anything else but Fox News.

I love Jon Stewart even more for this.

What do you think?

Jon Stewart has always been a hero of mine. He also took on a show at CNN called 'Crossfire,' destroyed the hosts, and the network cancelled the show as a result. He's taken on every newstation at some point.

It's good to get news from many sources not just one.

How does Bill O'Reilly manage to make himself look so ignorant and arrogant so often? I am legitimately unsure as to whether I have ever seen/heard him debate logically. I mean, I agree with some of the things he supports sometimes, but he just tries to argue his side so ridiculously that it drives me mad!

Jon Stewart is amazing. The way he can stand up for and prove his points, opinions, and feelings without getting mad or show slightest concern in the world puts some of our debates to shame.

What do you guys think of Stephen Colbert?

I'll admit the stand-up I write comes a lot more from Colbert inspiration, but I don't think the Colbert Report stands up to the Daily Show. The Daily Show covers actual issues in an actual context. It's a lot of parody, but there's a point to it. Colbert is really entertaining, but a lot of the stories are just offbeat.

Like that one about King Tut's missing penis.

Agreed, but sometimes it's nice to have a break from the harshness of the "real world."

Colbert is funnier, but less news, IMO.

But john stewart is just a bad ass, IMO.
