As many of you know, Casey Anthony was on trial for killing her two year old daughter, Caylee Anthony. She was found innocent on all accounts except lying to the police.
Why do we need two threads for this? the other one is obviously a debate too even though it started as a rant.
It annoys me how we have multiple threads for the same thing, about like..everything.
Little white flowers will never awaken you, not when the cold depths have all but overtaken you.
Dearest, The days are all so long,
and in the shadows I spend them all.
My heart and I long for slumber.
Slumber I'm caressing you, I bless your touch, I lust for you.
Slumber you are not a dream, Not as much as you seem.

Also she was proven not guilty, not innocent. Bigggg difference in the justice system.

To be honest, if she truly wasn't able to be proven then i think that she shouldn't be in jail. Not saying she's not guilty, just you can't put someone in jail who isn't proven. And like i said on the other thread, it's not really justice for the little girl. The little girl isn't suffering, or looking down and hating on her mother, so really, the justice is for us on earth atm. So, imo it's better to do justice like this and have a few people go free who deserve it, then have a free people who don't deserve jail sit in jail for their whole lives. It's just about who's on earth now, not the little baby girl.

People are too emotional. We need to look at facts; something the prosecution failed to get enough of. We keep forgetting that we aren't close to the situation and that it doesn't directly affect us. As Americans, and people in general, INNONCENT TIL PROVEN GUILTY. not the other way around. Better to mistakenly release 100 guilty then incarcerate 1 innocent.

Casey Anthony wasn't proven innocent. She was acquitted because there wasn't concrete evidence, as felt by the jury, that she was guilty beyond reasonable doubt. Unfortunately, double jeopardy has set in and she'll never be tried for this again. But, I'll stick to my belief that she's guilty.

Why the hell don't we get the concrete evidence in the first place?
So were going to listen to a group of people who may have no idea what the hell they're talking about and they can't be tried for it again?
Interesting, we can all say for example - Someone is guilty for killing someone and everyone knows they did with evidence, and the jurors say - "No". They won't be tried again.
