A paedophile named Daniel Taylor had pleaded guilty to owning over 300,000 pictures of abused children, he pleaded guilty for 27 offenses, 2 of which were sexual assualts on babies. He also made a video on how to abuse children called "not leaving a trace"
Verdic:
"Taylor was told he will be put on the sex offenders register for life and will not be released from prison until he was no longer considered a risk to the public."
I heard about him actually, it's sad really. I mean, I can't believe he made a video about it.
The three year sentence is nowhere near severe enough, the family of those effected, and those primarily assaulted will feel the burden of his actions for a lifetime.

I agree, it has to be a suitable amount of time to observe him to see if rehabilitation is a possibility; even Paedophiles have rights. If rehabilitation doesn't seem to be a possibility then I'm afraid letting him out is of no use at all.
