That suggests a more 'brawn over brains' kind of attitude though and I would like to imagine in today's society that brains do have the upper hand, not that many people have much use with theirs.

I did mention the mob mentality is stupid, right? Whoever said these people had brains? Look at what they did. That's what I meant.

It has nothing to do with the protest (which I did think I explained, soz if i haven't) apart from that that was their excuse. They just wanted some fun so they went on FB etc and told all their freinds. The police did do a good job of breaking up the crowds etc where I am given the circumstances, but as I walked through the town (but around the police cordon in the high street) I walked past a burnt out car and the remains of an industrial size wheely bin that had been set alight. That kind of thing never happens here (Enfield) and even after the rioters had moved away, the sirens and helicopters remained long into the night.

It's happening in Birmingham now, and apparently two men have been shot in Leeds.

I don't honestly know what to say. I don't even know what they hope to achieve by this, though I suspect absolutely fuck all. All this rioting is going to do is result in millions worth of damage which the public are going to have to pay back through taxes, a loss of jobs and establishments, and a detrimental view on the young/black community.

It's getting way out of hand.
