The hilarious part was that both were wrong and right at the same time. By that I mean, well, the woman shouldn't have been going off in the first place. And the other woman was right to tell her to knock it off. However, the other woman went off about "doing all the work for you" which is really a bunch of nonsense. Now I'm not sure how things work in Britain, but I can tell you one race doesn't do all the work.
In this instance the first woman was right to basically tell her that was bullshit.

However, that doesn't change that the woman was wrong to start off like that in the first place. Still, the other woman was being slightly racist herself by claiming we, meaning black people, do all the work.

You see racist people all over, black, white, yellow, red, whatever. Truth be told, only three races exist anyway. Take for instance people from the Middle East... guess what? They're Caucasian.
Three exist and people broke off into sub-categories after that. But this is going by facial and body structure. Believe it or not, we're not all the same on the inside. Just point that out here.

Anyway, this doesn't change one simple fact though... we're all still human.
It's not about race, and when it got right down to it both made it about race, although the black woman not near as much and she did back down off that point eventually by claiming that she was British. Which was good, because providing she's not just there visiting (and it didn't seem like she was) and she's a legal citizen, regardless if she was born there or moved there, she's British now. And that's all there is to it.


Meh, we have the same problem here in the US. You see it with every race and all forms of discrimination though. Discrimination is wrong regardless of who is doing it.

This is absolutely disgusting but at the same time, I am not surprised when you hear all of the time.

I would go off on a tangent on this kinda stuff... but it's too much so I am gonna keep it simple by saying this shows how racist people really are in this world. -.-

@Marionetta: Um? People in the Middle East are not white... Their of color so that means they aren't white. Just saying.

Don't want to insult anyone, and I'm not generalizing, but:

Some brits can't be bothered to work, live on the dole in a state apartment, and then blame Polish and Asians from stealing all the jobs, when in fact they wouldn't even work if the jobs were available... it's just an excuse.

I know what u feel like in one way because I'm a bit tan like my dad and where we are going to move to mostly everyone is white like my mom, my sister and my brother. When you meet a person like that it sucks. You get defensive and you just want to beet the shit out of them. My family from both my mom and dad's side are 95% European and 5% native American.

I do feel sorry for the child on her lap. He hasn't been dealt a good hand in life with a mother like that. You could sense the tension in the carriage, such a public display of hatred and ignorance is hard to fathom.

I also discovered this video a few days ago. But what surprised me even more than the terrible video was the fact that about half of the comments SUPPORTED HER. I don't know what to say about that...
