what are your opinions on drugs ?
do you think they are bad or good ?
why do you think teens do it ?

All my life, it's been hammered into me that drugs are horrible things and that I should even be in a close proximity to them, much less use them. So naturally, after 14 years of that, I think they're bad. However, I could care less about the fact that other people use them. I think teens do it to get away from things in their life that are bothering them, and due to the fact that they also get addicted to them.

Depends on which ones.

I sometimes take Tylenol when I have a headache.



I do not consume Marijuana though, by the grace of God. All sin, is the product of mans depravity.

There's a lot of reasons why teens do them.

I see no problem with Marijuana as long as it doesn't affect your day to day life.

For example, I smoke it once in awhile; every couple months lets say.
I'll hit a few bowls with friends, chill out, watch movies, stuff my face with food,sometimes have an adventure around the neighborhood and that's that. It does not affect the way I live my life at all, I dont have a need to smoke it every day or anywhere close to it.

A friend of mine will smoke 1-2 bowls a day, but that's just a normal day for her. It wakes her up in the morning and allows her to get a good nights sleep at night. She doesn't do or say stupid shit, looking at her, you'd never know she smokes at all, etc and she can do her job perfectly fine while buzzed.

I'd never do any harder drugs though and I'm also cautious with prescription and over the counter drugs.
Things like Tylenol (any, includnig T3+) or Advil, Excedrin,Percacets ,oxys, etc, they do nothing for me pain wise so I wont even bother with them; and I have an extremely high tolerance anyway so if I need something, you know it's bad and I'm going straight to the ER for a morphine drip.

do you think they are bad or good ? I don't use them at the moment, but to me it depends if you can handle them, if you can keep your head, then good for you.

why do you think teens do it ? Some do it because they think it is cool because they are told not to, Some do it because they like the feeling, I used to because they helped me deal.

Dependent on the type of drug you're talking about. Medical drugs save millions of lives each year, to say they're a bad thing would be counter-productive really. The amount of lives saved by medical drugs compared to the amount that are worse off due to non-medical or nonprescription medical drugs would lead me to answer that in my opinion drugs are a good thing.
However, if you were to change the question to my opinion on illegal drugs, then I would say that it is not the taking of the drugs that are bad, but merely the consequences such as addiction and poorly made decisions under the influence of said drugs, and also dependence on them so you will commit crime to get them that is the bad part of them. Marijuana is less addictive compared to most other drugs, legal or non therefore an outlier to this.
Why do teens take them? The same reasons that everybody takes them. Teens are not their own race you know, they're still human.

I would never want to try drugs; because of the addiction and side effects, I wouldn't even have a Panadol unless I had to.
I don't think they are good or bad; most drugs offer temporary positive side whilst long term addictions and a few bad effects. Depends, for some people I would recommend they don't take them.
I think teens take drugs as an escape mechanism, due to peer pressure or to experiment with new things.

Pretty much everyone has the chance to be educated on the effects of drugs so if you decide to take them, when you have no need for them medically of course, then it's your own fault if it screws up your life.
My cousin is a victim of drug abuse and after seeing what it has done to him I will never ever want to take drugs. I don't care how many people say "well if you take it once, it won't kill you". I don't want them.
