The Westboro Baptist Church (The WBC, in short), is a church in Kansas, USA with extremist views and opinions of homosexuality, nationality, countries and governments. They're well-known for their widespread hate as they picket and protest various locations nearly every day. They not only openly declare their extreme hate for homosexuality, but also for almost every other make of human being, condemning all who sin (all who do not follow their church) to a fiery burning in hell.

So, as you can see, it's pretty confronting and hard to believe that extremists would go this far and make signs condemning homosexuals, soldiers and making fun of the 9/11 attacks. At this point, I wish I could say I'm trolling you all, but I'm not and this is a serious church group out to spread some hate.

Their public pickets usually take place on the streets of Kansas, though the leader of the WBC claims that the church has picketed in every state and is proud to boast that he has picketed several funerals of dead soldiers with the signs shown above. The leader, Fred Phelps, along with his church has been sued countless times as the public and the parents of the deceased soldiers claim that the picketing of their childrens' funerals was harassment and an abuse of the first amendment. The supreme court ruled in the WBC's favour, agreeing that this display of hate, although irrational and disgusting, was within the constraints of the first amendment.

The WBC believes that the bible must be followed exactly as it is written. Their view is that God is not a loving deity, but rather he is a hateful one who gladly enjoys sending all those who sin (again, those who are not a part of the WBC) to hell.

Now, because I'm an Aussie and their actions were displayed all over the news here as their quite vocally expressed their hate towards Australia, labeling it a "Fag Nation", I'll link you all to an Australian news report about them.

Notice how they're teaching kids to believe this rubbish. Don't feel the need to watch all of it if you don't want to. But it's interesting just to see the level of dickfuckery that occurs in the world today.

It's really the time for humanity to take a dump.

Well, there are a certain amount in the church that obviously support one another and their beliefs. But, most people outside of the church look down upon them as scum. And so they should.

These bastards have been doing this kind of activity for years, and while I think they are vile, it is the proudest hour of the first amendment of the US Constitution to not have all of them raped in a jail cell somewhere.

I didn't even finish reading the article. People like that make me sick! There's no logical reason for why they act and think they way they do and I sincerely hope that their picketing has not attracted anyone else into their satanic cult.
