I don't care what the older kid (Dylan) was doing... whether it's bullying, teasing, or anything else. It's not right to stab somebody, even in self-defense.

Lol, so if someone was coming at you and you had a knife you honestly would let the other person do whatever they want?
Maybe you've never been in that situation, I have, trust me, you will defend yourself even if just by instinct.
I do agree that too much stabbing to end in death is very extreme though... a small stab in the leg would be enough for the other one to stop.
Well, as bad and over reacting as it seems bullying and fights can get REALLY awful. So unless we see all the facts and how it went down, I think it was pretty much justified.. maybe a little extreme, but it doesn't seem like he went to legit kill him. I mean, these fights can be brutal It's not just "hahahah your a loser!"

What worries me is the fact he stabbed him twelve times.
I'm pretty sure that if you just wanted him to stop bullying you then one stab (not that it was a good idea at all) would have been enough? O_o
Clearly something must have snapped or he intentionally tried to kill him.
I personally think that both of them were in the wrong. He shouldn't have been provoked and he should not have stabbed him.
IMO if you stabbed someone who's already abusive once they'd just get pissed off and probably hurt you more.. I would think, but it probably should've been done and see how he reacted.
Anyways I don't think the kid should be charged, he's only 15 and they were bullying.. it's horrible yeah but it's not like he stalked the dude and killed him in his sleep because of being bullied other times.

Like Kate said, bullying can be really awful. Think of all the craziness inside his head, he was bound to flip.
