Not sure if anyone has heard, but it's been confirmed that there will be a few major websites participating in an "internet blackout" on Wed. Jan 18th. I think this is a neat idea. So far, the confirmed websites to go along with it are Wikipedia, Cheezburger Network (All 50 some websites), Word Press, Reddit, Tumbler, and some of Firefox. Other major websites such as Google, Facebook, Yahoo, etc, are considering joining in on it as well.
That's remarkable, i support some of SOPA, but others leave me a bit unweary. I feel like the wording is too open and it makes me uneasy, even though the web censorship does have a potential to be beneficial
Civil disobediance for the win. While I agree with bits and pieces of SOPA, I don't like how it will affect a lot of innocent websites

If Google and Facebook both do it, this would be a huge deal. Until that day comes though, I'm afraid the only website that matters is Wikipedia, and that alone is not enough to make a movement.
SOPA was poorly worded. Either the government needs to get smarter, or stop thinking we aren't as smart as we are.

i hope the big sites like google, facebook, youtube and such do the black out
show people what would happend if the internet was censored

Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!"
I agree with some of SOPA, and I am also the guy who will be one of the firsts to join in civil disobedience, but it will end up censoring sites like this anyway, because the government purposely makes these bills so vague they can be applied to anything.
I often don't have a rhyme or reason, only a rhythm.
