I think the original post may be poorly worded. I get the impression she doesn't mean all conspiracy theories are wrong or that all conspiracy theorists are idiots (despite her actually saying that). Rather, she maybe believes that when conspiracy theorists contest every single event and label it as having ulterior motives and shadowy deals without solid proof that it gets tiring and stupid. Especially when they continue to wave around conspiracy theories when there are many more facts going against the theory.

Having said that, there are definitely conspiracy theories that have happened. Seems only appropriate.

Regardless, if you're offended by this thread, you should probably harden the fuck up and realise that taking offense to something doesn't change anything.

Correction: Pay special attention to the bottom of page 7, and most of page 8.

I think what a lot of people overlook is that getting everyone to believe a certain explanation can cover up something a lot better than keeping it a secret and/or hiding/removing evidence.

If everyone believes a lie as if it's the truth, the real truth can come out and everyone will think it's bullshit.

That said, I only regard most conspiracy theories as interesting possibilities. The only one I can say I subscribe to now is that the internet piracy trend (at least in terms of file-sharing software) was kickstarted by big names and companies in the software and entertainment industries in order to spread a crime that they could later collect on with a law/laws that would make it easy to collect from those who pirate (SOPA and ACTA). There's some evidence, if anyone wants to see it.
