I think you're missing one of the key tenets of at least one of the Abrahamic religions, Judaism. I'm aware of the whole "Abraham, dog, go sacrifice your kid Isaac, aight?" and he almost did. But then again, as Judaism progressed, it became more of a question-based religion. I would question why G-d decided to ask me to sacrifice my kid, and I wouldn't do it. Not even because it would be immoral- simply because I wouldn't want to kill my kid.
Does that make me atheist on some level? No, because I believe in G-d. Just because I question something doesn't mean I question it's existence. I question my parents, but I'm certain they exist.
