Breaking the Rules - Are Rules Meant to Be Broken?
Are rules really meant to be broken?
I think they are there for a good purpose usually but if we all followed them all the time then we would live in such harmony and would be really boring as everybody would be perfect by never stepping out of line.
Re: Breaking the Rules - Are Rules Meant to Be Broken?
It depends on what the rule is, I'm was a rule breaker at school, I bought shoes with the skates inside and I would skate around to class it was awesome til I got in trouble 2 days in school suspension, In High School We had serious Blocks on the internet and we'd always get passed them with Proxies, and stuff just to play get on Myspace & Play games. It sucked because it was blocked at home as well.
Re: Breaking the Rules - Are Rules Meant to Be Broken?
If it's a stupid rule, sure. But if we all thought that way every rule would get broken...
So rules are there for a good reason obviously.
But there are some that are just so damn stupid that they should be broken so people can see that they really serve no purpose aside from making others miserable!
I'd need time to think of them all, but after a while I could.

Re: Breaking the Rules - Are Rules Meant to Be Broken?
most ppl break rules there are some silly rules out there , but i dont agree with the rules that are strict , like the speed limits on a road they should not be broken.
Re: Breaking the Rules - Are Rules Meant to Be Broken?
I also think this about rules.
For example the UK Law where you are not allowed to defend yourself until somebody has physically hit you. Say if there was four people about to hit me and I hit them first, I would get prosecuted for it. Rules like that are just unfair in a lot of circumstances.
Re: Breaking the Rules - Are Rules Meant to Be Broken?
a lad i went to school with is known for causing trouble , hes been in prison that many times for fighting , stealing and other things , he now lives rough eats out of bins and is slowiey dieing from drink and drug abuse. if anyone starts a fight with him hes not able to hit back , if he does hes back in prison , yea its good for him to get locked up time after time as he knows hes got a warm bed and food. but its so unfair hes really trying to change his life around but ppl and the law wont let him. rules like that are so stupid , i often sit and wonder who actually made up these rules , and i think they need to have a complete rethink about them.

They used 'battery' against you and you assaulted them. So you were acting in self-defence. :top:
