Three weeks after being aboard a devastating plane crash that killed four people, Travis Barker has a simple message for his fans: "Thank you."

The former Blink-182 drummer posted a message Saturday evening on his MySpace blog thanking his supporters and paying tribute to his assistant Chris Baker, 29, and his security guard Charles Still, 29, whose lives were claimed by the Sept. 19 crash.

Barker, who sustained second- and third-degree burns from the crash, also posted an update on his own condition, which were accompanied by a series of photos of the rocker in the hospital.

Barker writes, "Like the doctors said from the beginning, its [sic] been a slow recovery process. I am coming up on the 7th of my surgeries Monday."

Despite the long recovery process, Barker gives a shout-out to his doctors and to the hospital staff, whom he writes are "all bomb!"

And Barker says he's in good spirits after seeing how well his fellow crash survivor DJ AM is doing. "Seeing him after he was discharged was an inspiration," writes Barker. "I saw just how awesome the doctors' work here is, and got to see how well he is doing. I am so happy to see him doing well, and we are both so lucky and grateful that we are alive today."

Barker ends his post on a hopeful note, writing: "Now Im just counting the days until I can leave. I cant wait to get home to play drums with my son, and go for bike rides with my daughter. I cant wait to see the pictures from Landon's "Jack and Sally Nightmare Before Christmas" birthday party that we had for him today. I am bummed that I couldn't be there, but thank God Ill be around to see many, many more."
