Here is a quote from a book I read called Bootstrap Business by Rich Christiansen and Ron E. Porter:

I have a 100 dollar bill. Do you want it? Of course you do. Now lets say that I crumple it up, do you still want it? Of course you do. Now I'm gunna stomp on it and throw it and soak it so it looks horrible, do you still want it? Of course you do, and why is that? Because no matter how much the 100 dollar bill is beat up, it's value never changes. The same thing goes for humans. No matter how much we get pushed around or stomped on, our value never changes.
