It's only self harm if you are doing it on purpose to harm yourself. Which you aren't doing. So you're okay.

Nope, but kick the habit, it's a nasty thing. I used to bite my nails for years and I still do at times, but I completely stop for some reason when I'm reading novels. So whenever I start again I just pick up a book and read it and I don't bite for a few more months lmao.
