I'm sorry you're feeling like this. If your mum is set on going to America then it's not all that likely that you'll be able to change her mind (especially if your dad is there too). Chances are she'll say that they know what's best but I think it's important that they hear what you think about it. Telling them in person or writing it down will mean you can do that and at least then they know that you're not entirely happy about it. Writing things down will be a good idea. You'll be able to get out what you want to say clearly and at a pace that suits you. Your thoughts and feelings will become clearer and you'll be able to give that to you mum if you want to and she'll then know exactly how you feel. You can say that as part of the family, you should have some say in what happens and you're entitled to express your opinion.
Even if you don't want to give her what you've written, writing it down will still help you understand your emotions and cope with them better. I hope this helps.
