hello peeps on Teen Forumz, i need help on deciding what to do
should i stay at home with my mother who i love and step dad how sometimes gets mad and yells and hits me, or should i ask to move in with my big cousins

any advice will help

If your parents will let you, I think you should go wherever you will be safest and happiest. As you're 17, you're nearly old enough (in most countries) to be able to move out anyway so even if they don't you, you'll only have to wait until you're 18. I'm guessing that your mum and step dad love each other and aren't going to split up anytime soon so maybe you could talk to your mum about what he does to you and see if she can make him stop hitting you. I think your mum will probably want you to stay and your step dad wouldn't mind as much (I'm assuming. I might be wrong) so if you wanted to, you could threaten to leave and then he would have to stop otherwise your mum would get really upset with him for making her child leave home.

Sorry this is just a rambling mess of thoughts. My advice would be to first of all, talk to your mum about it and then go from there. Good luck.

In all honesty, I wish you had told me earlier so I could have helped you to the best of my ability, but I should have read the sign's.

First off, like Rogan said, talk to your mum and tell her what's going on. I know she know's that he tease's you, but I don't think she knows the whole story.
If nothing is done and she just ignore's it then it's time to make a move. You can't keep living like this and I know for a fact it's affecting the way you act and the way you eat.
You seriously need to eat more. Please, for your sake, ignore what he say's about how you eat and stop restricting yourself.
Going through the whole day without eating anything until tea isn't healthy. (Sometime's you don't even eat tea.) Sammie, I'm really, really worried here.

He's only doing this to feel better about himself and he is a complete idiot. But, in a way, I don't think he's know's what this is doing to you.

Sit down with your mum and talk to her about it.
Ask her to speak to Andy and tell him to stop what he's doing.
If that doesn't work then you have a decision to make. Stay with them, or move in with your cousin's.
The only one that can decide that is you.
