Okay i've been upset about my mum shouting,hurting, making me feel bad for what I did and it bloody work. Anyway I always love my makeup it's just pretty and i'm like other teenage girls who like that kinda stuff. I think looks are inportant just like personality I go for both. So what I ask my mum is was just a simple question I said ''Mum is my face to orange''? She got the wrong idea and thought I meant about looking old I got abit annoyed and shouted no which I shouldn't I did say sorry for that then she shouted back at me and said ''No use your brain and look in the mirror'' I went in the room to say sorry but she was like in stress in a bad mood saying looks are not everything and that she never askes that of what i said to her mum that's what she told me and said Living is inportant your health is inportant and I do agree but she just says it in a bad mood to me like shouting those words to me so I shouted back and said ''Personality is inportant too I know that'' She said ''it doesn't look it'' So yeah blah blah we had arguments but what the rude thing is she calls me ''love'' just because she's in a very bad mood I went outside cause I had enough of her mood swings and she said ''Go and do your makeovers go on'' in a very nasty way. I never swore at her because I had to respect her cause she's my mother. After that she makes me feel bad and makes it like all of this is my fault. I even nearly cried about what she did. She doesn't even care if I cry when she done something to upset me she's like get over it sweetheart. She really hurt me :( I ask her if looks are so inportant why does she make me dye her grey roots and use face creams? She said ''i'm not arguing about makeup'' ''I've got speical needs child got lot in my plate to worry which I totally do understand but theres some part of it that she did something wrong of biting my head off so quickly. If you think this is my fault then I wont ask her those questions. :( I didn't mean to pick fight with her am I really a bad person? She looks at me and thinks it's all about makeovers and looking pretty stuff like that but that's what teenage girls do they like to look pretty. She even said looks are not inportant because they fade when you get older but the personality is still there. She's says the fact but she's cruel at the same time.

You weren't wrong to ask your mothers opinion, it just sounds like she's fed up of seeing you worry so much about how you look.

You did nothing wrong, I just can't understand how she doesn't understand a teenage girls desire to experiment with make-up and look good. No offence but it sounds like she never bothered taking care of herself when she was younger

You did nothing wrong, almost every girl likes to use make up and look nice, you only asked for her opinion. She might have just been a bit fed up of seeing you worry so much about your looks. I'm sure your mum was the same at your age and because she's your mum she'll always see you as beautiful, make up or no make up I wouldn't take what she said to heart.
