im so mad at myself. i lied to my dad about wearing a shirt i have and he found out. he got really mad at me. It's hard for him, cuz he's a single dad and i feel so freaking bad about it. i dont know what to say to him..but i honestly...ah i hate myself for doing that :/
Your father is growing you up on his own and feels that he needs to be both mother and father (you said he is single) .. So he tries to be a little more protective , you can have a chat with him and calm him down telling him how you can take care of your self and be careful with the things you do (aka wear ...) etc.
sometimes we put up walls , not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to knock them down.

My dad is a single parent to me and my sister (i dont know how it is with parents that are together) but you have to parent your parent while he is parenting you you need to work together
Not sure how it is for most people
talk to your dad its okay if you cry tell him how you feel if you cant face him email him right a note record a webcam video and send it but yall need to work together some how

Everyone goes through this , your dad is just being protective for you , don't worry about getting your dad mad it can happen , honestly i have been in a few fights with my parents over things (yelling at them and stuff) sure they got mad and upset but eventually they forget about it and forgive you that is what you gotta love about parents , just apologize to your dad and tell him what ever you want to , don't worry about crying , after all he is your dad and at the end of the day he wants what ever makes you happy
Its just a small mistake, dear. Dony beat yourself up. Your dad is having a tough time as all single parents do. He only wants what is best for you, and he loves you to death. Do your best to try to respect his authority. He isnt bossing you around because he doesnt like you, perhaps he doesnt want you to wear the shirt because it's a little more provacative and flashy than he is comfortable with.

it was just a tank top, but it was loose fitting, so the scoop and the arms went down low.. but i was wearing something under..

my dad doesnt forget tho..and it honestly makes me feel SO bad about it. gah but true, i should be more positive and look on the better side of it

Yeah you do actually parenting doesn't come with a book they don't know much about it you have to talk
