Default being bullied by friend pls help

Before reading this I will say that English is not my language so pls don't judge me

I know you may hear this all the time from teenage girls, but this bully is driving me crazy. At times she's lovely and acts like a really good friend, but then it switches and she makes remarks and disapproving faces when she doesn't agree. If I do anything, she has a go at me and interrogates me, making me feel under pressure. I've known her all my life, but how can I stop her making my life so hard? I've tried talking about it and making new friends, which does work but how can I get the best friend instead of the spoilt jealous one?
Please help because none of our other friends seem to notice how much she manipulates me. Every time I hang out with her or try to avoid her, she is always being completely unfair and bullies with anything she can find she can sometimes say that I'm fat and ugly when in reality I'm not fat and ugly

what should I do?

If she's being mean and it's getting to you then why bother being friends with her? She's clearly not a nice person if she bullies and manipulates you. Unfortunately you can't have the best of both worlds. You have to make a decision. You either like her or you don't. I'd say to her that she needs to start treating you better or you'll move on from her and find new friends. If you're not willing to do that then you need to ask the questions as to why she's acting that way towards you and why she's jealous. That way you can get to the root of the problem.

Doesn't sound like a friend at all. In the immortal words of the spirit of truth:

Perhaps a direct approach?

Tell her you're bothered by the aforementioned comments and behavior, and, if she continues, tell her you don't want to be her friend anymore.

If she changes momentarily only to immediately return to her offensive behavior, then, honestly, she may not be worth being friends with.

I know you may have shared moments of genuine friendship in the past, but, sadly, you can't let that be the only reason for your present friendship.

However, while you don't have to like her, don't let it result in hatred.

She most likely has some personal problems herself if she feels she has to belittle another.
