They used too... (And let me tell you, 'spanking' is proper punishment in this house [although that ended a very long time ago]).

Since then, they've taken anything they know will hurt the most. Computer, keys, phone, tv, going out with friends, etc.

I remember, it got to the point where they stopped assigning "for a week" sentences.. and just said "you'll get it back when you've earned it". It sucked.

But, that's all ended, and I stay in pretty good standing. I'm legally an adult, but when I come home for the summer, I am still bound by these rules. sigh. lol.

Never and they know it would be useless as I can entertain myself in my room in many ways. In any case, up until high school they managed to convince me all i had to do was study/read to lead a happy life so i wasn't much of a rebel if at all

I used to get grounded...and spanked. But now if we do something bad they scream at us which ends up becoming this tear-filled sorry and explanation -.- A real 'Hallmark Moment'!

Sometimes they threaten to take away my laptop or my cell phone ect. But that never actually gets carried out.
