I hope you realize grounding is meant to teach you a lesson. Teaching you not to do stupid things.
It's discipline, they have it in real life too - it's called a warning then getting fired.
You may say that now, been when you grow up I'm sure you'll think differently - esp. if your kids won't listen to you.
I don't get grounded much anymore. Now that I do all my work that I'm supposed to do and I'm caught up with things they have no reason to ground me.
However, if I do something then they take away my computer and TV and make me go outside and do shit and go places.
Meh.
