Toy Story 3

So the new Toy Story movie is out after a close-to eleven year hiatus (short a few months of the eleven year mark) and it is the last one apparently. Not sure about other Teen Forumz'ers but I watched Toy Story, and later on Toy Story 2, a lot as a kid. The new one could be just as good or better than the first two, but I don't exactly want to see it. Back then I was a bit happier and things were much simpler (Ignorance is bliss I suppose) and I can still watch them today and still feel a bit of that happiness I had back then for an hour and a half, I feel that Toy Story 3 would diminish or flat-out kill those nostalgic feelings since I would watch it as I am now, and not as a child as I was, and since it is part of Toy Story itself, it would affect how I view the other two. There are only a very, very few things things now that I can look back on the things that brought happiness when I was a child without the tainting of something bad or negative attached to it as a child or apathy and pessimism that I have today (Like Super Mario Bros (NES) and Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past (SNES), while I still enjoy playing them, it's just not the same anymore since I've progressed in the series and got older and I can't just see the games the same anymore and the fun factor is diminished), and the first two Toy Story movies is one of them. I kinda want to leave this little piece of childhood untampered with but I know eventually I'll end up watching it and effectively make it impossible to look back at something when I was a kid without the negative connotations attached to it. Which is why they shouldn't have waited almost eleven years to make a sequel. :l That's all I have to say about that.
