Default Scary movies?

I need a list of some good scary movies.
I'm going to immunize myself so I don't get so scared when I watch scary movies, by watching a ton of scary movies without closing my eyes.
Need to prepare myself for Paranormal Activity 2 in October

Good call.
All the saw films are pretty good.
28 days later is worth watching aswell.
[REC] is really good aswell. It's got a handheld camcorder theme ala the Blair Witch Project. Don't watch quarantine which is an awful American remake.

I saw most of the Saw movies, but stopped after the fourth because I got bored.
I have 28 Days Later but always fall asleep at the part where they're "camping out", so I'll watch it in the middle of the day sometime.
Never heard of [REC], had the chance to watch Quarantine but didn't want to because I was too scared, of course, lol.
As for the Blair Witch Project, I haven't seen the first one, but saw the second one (Book Of Shadows).

Never seen Underworld, or Resident Evil (obviously since it hasn't come out yet).
Last Destination 1, 2, 3... is that Final Destination 1, 2, and 3?
Never heard of The Nun.
The Unborn scared me after 10 minutes; I had to turn it off.

The only one I wouldn't watch is The Human Centipede; the trailer made me feel sick.

Oh wow, lame list so far guys.
Some of the following are more creepy than thrilling. Horror has two classes, thriller and creepy.
Creepy scars you for fucking life while giving you vast amount of paranoia. Thrillers shorten you life expectancy then and there.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Alien
Halloween (the original)
Psycho (the original)
House on Hunted Hill (the original)
Dracula (the original)
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (the original)
The Silence of the Lambs
The Birds (holy fuck, you'll never be able to look at a flock the same way again)
Ringu (The Ring original Japanese)
House of Wax (the original)

Some of these are kind of old but I swear to God you will not sleep after watching some of these! The acting is superb, the plots are great, and they are flat out fucking creepy!
Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Psycho I recommend highly. Because both my sister (who scares easy) and I can both handle things like Saw and Halloween and shit like that. But this? Oh hell, we couldn't sleep for a week!
I remember waking to find my sister had crawled into bed with me the night after having watched Psycho afraid that that *SPOILER* would get her.

Take my word for it, if you can handle creepy shit then you can handle thrillers.

Also, any horror made by Alfred Hitchcock - watch it.
Any horror featuring Vincent Price - watch it.

And believe it or not Jaws is also a horror movie. Sure as hell scared me when I first saw it.

Creepy > Thrills

Shout, Shout, Let it all Out, These are the Things I Can do Without
You Shouldn't Have to Jump for Joy, You Shouldn't Have to Shout for Joy

They Give You Life and in Return You Gave 'em Hell
As Cold as Ice - No Bitch, You're Ice Ice Baby
I Hope We Live to Tell the Tale, I Hope We Live to Shout the Tale
Will You Never Shout? And When You've Taken Down Your Guard...

If I Could Change Your Mind, I'd Really Love to Break Your Heart!
Come On Let Me Shout Shout Let Me,
Come On Let Me Shout Shout!

I've seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but I'd have to watch it again since I don't really remember it.
Alien, never seen it; my boyfriend has AvP if that helps? lol...
Halloween, seen ALL of them. Didn't phase me much.
Psycho, never seen it but you make it sound awesome so I'm gonna watch it.
House on Haunted Hill, seen it, didn't phase me.
Dracula, seen it; it scared me a little, wasn't too bad though.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers sounds pretty good.
The Silence of the Lambs, I've wanted to see for a long time!
The Birds, I'm sure I've seen it, it sounds familiar, will have to watch it again.
Ringu, seen it; The Ring scared me more.
The House of Wax, seen that one too, the new one is better but the old one is indeed scarier.

I'm excited for most of these movies now. Thanks for the list! :]

It is...

Wait, also! Diabolique (Les Diaboliques) is another one I suggest. It's more suspense but very good, I would tell you what makes it good... but the angry French warning at the end told people not to. orz
If you can tolerate subs (or can understand French) then I suggest watching it in it's original French format to avoid the dub. Though my dad say's the dub is still really good, we agree the French just somehow makes it seem a hell of a lot creepier.
