Shiki is this new Anime I've been watching.
It's based on a Novel and Manga, of which I plan on reading the Manga sooner or later.

Anyway, it's an awesome series that I'm loving so far.
I love how creepy the vampires/shiki can get. I also love how they have both a Western and Eastern feel to them.

It's just too awesome for me to even put into words. I suppose it starts off a bit slow though. That's kinda the one downside I see but in episode 4 I noticed things were picking up a bit more.

Sidenote: I think the art is really good as well. I suppose the coloring in some places ruins it a bit, but I like the art as it's pretty unique.

For those living in the US, you can watch it on FUNimation's video site. For those of you outside the US, the only way to watch it is by streaming on other sites done by free sub groups.

It's been a while since I've watched a new anime seeing as I've been reading manga instead. Methinks this will be good. It looks good anyway... though I might read the manga first. *Contemplates*

Like I said it starts off really slow because, hell, we already know the cause of what's going on and it's taking the characters forever to get it.
But it's reasonable because no sane person would ever think of vampires. XD

But the art, I think, is really good and so is the story.
