I don't know about anyone else on this forum but I absolutely love Lord of the Rings, especially The Hobbit. I have both read it, listed to the story tape 100 times over - I cannot seem to get enough! (I listened to the story tape quite a few years back though.) And now, the filming date has been released - February next year!

What are everyone's thoughts on this? It's obviously going to be directed by Peter Jackson (directed all three Lord of the Rings.) which made me extremely happy - I already knew they had this in mind but I didn't know when they would do it! So, what are your thoughts? Will it be good? Bad? Should they have stopped with The Return of the King? Share your thoughts.

I think it's great that they'll begin to film.
I actually thought they had already started the filming session but okay, then we have to wait a bit longer...but it's coming!!!!

Sounds great! I loved the lord of the rings, i think it will be good though.
