ok i am still to be convinced that soap operas are a good idea
can anyone tell me why i should watch them
which is the best and why? xxxx

A good idea? not sure what you mean really...

But if you watch them and enjoy watching them then you watch them haha

Some people don't like them because there is very little reality in them. One town or place can only have some many murders, kidnaps, rapes, fires, deaths, long lost parents/siblings, people returning from the grave.

But they are just there for entertainment.

I like them

Some people get really into the story line in these, but its something you really have to watch day in and day out. If you don't have that much time and only can watch it here and there you wont really like it. Since I never have a lot of free time, I've never gotten into them.
