Ahhh the things you will go to when you are desperate for a family.

I think they overstepped the line. Think it was 'new year, new impact' and that's what they've hit out with, without realizing it's backfired on them. Watching the news today 60,000 (i'm sure it was that) complaints. Now, that's a lotta people.

I think it is good that Eastenders is showing cot death in its programme because its kind of a taboo subject, its rarely shown or talked about on tv. So bravo for that...

But to go to the extreme they have with the mixed up stoyline is just too much!

If it was just the ctdeath I think it would reach out to many mourning Mothers but the whole swapping babies surely doesn't make grieving families feel any better.

I agree with them showing a cot death. It raises awareness and is a good plot device. However I am totally against them swapping the babies. It makes it look like cot death mothers are baby stealing nutcases. Not good representation at all.

However, typical of the bbc viewers, they've made a big hoopla over a tv show. complain but don't start harassing the actress involved.

I hate how they give the storyline to ronnie because she's an amazing actress and now she's leaving, but even after all the stories against her she's carried on and she is truly amazing. The storyline is a bit too much but this does happen in real life, and eastenders is only showing what happens in the real world.
