Was the movie a disappointment to you? I feel as f it means more to those who read the novels than those who didn't, but part 2 should be excellent for both sides.

Thoughts?

i watched the movie first, and it was really good in my opinion.
and then i read the book.. and i didnt realize on how many things the movie left out. all the conversations they have are really interesting, and the movie sums them all up in about 3 seconds each.

I'm glad they split the movie into two parts. I understand cutting out a lot of the a dialogue in the book, but everything that happens in the book is relevant to the story. But I still have yet to see the first part.

I loved it, ive watched all the films and read the 1st book, and i agree they did leave quite alot out but its still good Cant wait for part 2

I was so excited that they finally did a Harry Potter movie justice! The fifth and sixth movies were major disappointments to me. I think that part 1 followed the actual story line very well. I hadn't really thought about how it may have appeared in the eyes of a person who hadn't read the story. Although, I watched the movie with a friend who hadn't read the books and I remember having to explain a few things to him. I don't see how HP fans can understand all the movies when they haven't read the books though....

I'm counting down the days till Part 2 is released!!! It was a great choice to split it in two parts. I was worried they were going to ruin it.

I think the book is much better. And the moovie is different from it.

i thought it was the best out of all the movies To be honest. i have never read the books. could never get into them...
