Default The 'Deathly Hallows Part 2' Thread

What did you people think of the movie? What were your favorite moments? What could have been improved?

Personally, I thought it was fantastic. I just wished Harry and Ginny had more time together.

I loved it. Though, they should of made it a bit longer and more details like the book. The book was more powerful.

Overall, I recommend everyone watching it.

I wanted to cry. I would have if I had been alone. It was so emotional!

Yeah, I'm an odd guy.

The last movie was really good but there was bits that bugged me because they wasnt like the book. eg. the last fight scene where harry kills voldermort, why was it done outside with no one there when in the book they was in the great hall with everyone there?

did anybody go to the premier in london? pretty disappointed because i didnt get into trafalgar but saw eveyone at leicester square. pretty good but rained alot

It was good but not great. Like a 6/10 or something like that. I felt like the pace was off, especially the first part of the film. Yates seems to have 2 speeds. Standing still and Furiously rushing forward. There wasn't much of an in between. That I think was the major problem. Another problem was shooting in 3d. When a movie is shot in 3d so many things are messed up. Otherwise, well cast, well acted, some beautiful shots and some edgy direction. It's interesting to look at the three main characters in the first movie and see their development as actors (and actresses). So yeah. A good solid film, but it wouldn't make my top 500 of all time.
