And if there are more of these things not working in a film than in another film then chances are the first one isn't as good.
But that's if you look at it from an artistic point of view. If you are looking at it from a entertainment point of view than I agree with you.

Ah, but you did go full on artistic and technical there. While I myself may not have a problem with that, I was talking about movies in general. Like, you may say that Full Metal Jacket was a much better movie than Battle  A because of the sound Effects or physical and mental fatigue portrayed and so and so...
