Default The Diary of Anne Frank

Some of you may have read the book, even watched the movie.

What are your thoughts on this and have you ever watched the movie? I find it very sad to hear about. It's also very devastating to hear jokes about this.

I watched a movie on this by Master Piece classics or something.
Really sad, I'm into watching/reading things about the holocaust though. So terrible...

The scene where she wants to start touching herself while watching this with my older sister, awkkkkwardddd.

Growing up Jewish in the US, yo learn about the holocaust at a young age. 11 million people died. 1/4 Jews in europe perished. The whole affair is disturbing. I strongly suggest anyone to read up on the Holocaust- the stories of survival are gripping and th tales of loss are heartwrentching.

Anne was nearly one. Imagine 10.99 million others.

I've read the book twice and I believe I watched a movie or two about it. Regardless, the only movie that I remember distinctly is the 1959 version which was actually a pretty good movie. But for me, other Holocaust stories have always held more of an appeal for me. I don't connect with the story presented in the book as much as I do other stories, such as the one told by Elie Wiesel in Night, a few of the other ones that I have spoken to in person, or even some of the movies made about the subject.

I have read her diary and I have seen a film too (I believe there is more than one...) - The book is in one of my bookshelves, I'm going to read it again.

It's a very sad one, I have to tell. But it's quite important to read - I think, because it teaches.

I have read the book and seen some of the movies it's so sad to hear about it. It must have been heartbreaking for her father to have come back and go through that.

Its one of those books that you have to read as a teenager. I've seen the film and in the UK there was a TV series at ome point and I watched that too.

It just makes you stop and think. You get to know Anne through the book and feel a connection at points.

Baby is this love for real?
Let me in your arms to feel,
the beating of your heart baby...
