Difference Between Fullmetal Alchemist and Brotherhood
Ok, I was hoping to get the second season of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood for Christmas and I ended up coming up with this thread about the differences between Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
1st of all, I would like to establish that the orginal anime series was very dull compared to Brotherhood. Many people I've heard from have said that the main difference between them was that the original wasn't even really based off the manga. The series strayed from the idea of Ed and Al finding the Philoserpher's stone and was built mainly upon bits and pieces of what could be called fillers to form the series.
The Ending- it was crap! Apparently from what i've heard and seen, Ed ended up giving up his body for Al's. Then Ed disappears. (spoiler warning here, read next paragraph) at the end of Brotherhood, Ed trades in his ablility to create Alchemy and the gets Al's body back.
Also, in Ed and Al seemed to be al little more childish in the original series. In Brotherhood, Ed and Al were more serious. Al acted more mature and past the years of 10, despite his young voice. In the original, Ed and Al seemed to act more shot-sighted and child-like.
If you would like to put more things in, feel free. Oh, and if you know where I can get the whole second season of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, please tell me! i was really hoping to find it! Thanks.
